Munich Acadamy Accompanies Tourport Project

TSS and onlineweg Participate as Technical Supporters

Partners Software relies, for conception and development of its leisure-travel global solution Tourport, also upon strong, external partners’ know-how. The TSS travel agency cooperation and the onlineweg.de Internet portal have both been supporting the development since nine months technically. For the scientific cooperative research, Partners has teamed up with the Munich Academy's Faculty for Leisure Travel.

Via the TSS Group, Partners Software linked up with a company as technical support, which excels in both travel agency and Internet business with great competency. “TSS and onlineweg.de have actively collaborated since 2008 on developing Partners’ new leisure-travel search and booking system,” explains TSS’ CEO Manuel Molina.

Both developments partners: TSS and onlineweg.de have been exchanging ideas with Partners developers in continuing workshops. The travel-agency cooperation TSS thereby overtakes the part for professional travel-agency operation (B2B). Onlineweg.de’s CEO Hans Simon reaffirms his engagement: “Our employees possess extensive knowledge of consumer operation within the Internet. We are bringing that into Tourport.” It represents Tourport's concept, which possesses varying interfaces for both professional users as well as final consumers.

From the start until now, we have been attributing the highest value to external know-how for developing Tourport. “Our partners are professionals from travel agencies and final consumer operations as well as Leisure-Travel Science, to whose advice we listen,” states Mr. Brinker.

The Academy of Applied Sciences – Munich, Faculty for Leisure Travel, has been accompanying the development of Tourport since October 2008 in a scientific manner. The central focus of the accompanying research consists of Tourport pages’ user-friendliness. “In regular tests, our scientists and students test the pages, observe active users and develop innovative usage scenarios, from which demands for optimal Tourport usability from both the clients’ and travel agents’ view are able to be derived.”

21 year after founding the Bremen, Germany-based company, Partners Software has advanced to one of the leading providers of technology within the travel and leisure-travel branches in Europe.
