Partners supplies IBE to LTU

Bremen-based IT specialist, Partners Software, is developing a new booking engine (IBE) for the airline LTU. This is supposed to be implemented primarily abroad and increase the amount of flight bookings to Germany. The most important user market will be the USA.

The Dusseldorf-based airline LTU and Partners Software have agreed that Partners develop a booking engine for the airline’s international sales. Above all, LTU will implement the new IBE in the USA, for realising both quantitatively increased and user-friendly bookings for its long-haul flights’ market.

The LTU solution will be hosted in Partners’ Bremen-based data-processing centre. Technically, the solution is based on Partners’ LOW.FARExml interface, which directly accesses the Amadeus reservation system/CRS.

“We decided upon Partners, since the company has the necessary experience for the American market, which is increasingly important for us,” states Michael Rudolf, International Sales Manager. "Our extensive international experience in various markets has been a huge help to us for this important project with LTU," reconfirms Partners' Managing Director, Wolfgang Brinker. Partners is not only knowledgeable about the technical components of such a project, rather also knows the market conditions exactly.
